11+ practice your child will actually want to do, every day

Sagito is 11+ practice that a child actually wants to open. It is for Year 5 children working towards a grammar school or other selective school, and for parents who would rather not police it. It is built for the steady run through Year 5 towards your target school, not a last-minute push. It has 5,000 questions that adapt to your child’s level, and every one answered earns wildlife cards, coins for a camp, and a day streak with bonus coins.

Big dreams. Small steps. A little adventure every day.

Four subjects, 5,000 questions

2,000 of the 5,000 questions are free, permanently and with no daily cap — around six months of daily practice before anything is asked of you.

It finds the right level on its own

Sagito works out where a child is from their first set of answers, and moves with them question by question. An explorer who is finding it hard meets warm-ups; one who is flying gets stretched. There is no level to choose and nothing to configure, and the difficulty never caps how far anyone can go.

Shaped for particular schools

Some children are working towards one school in particular. School focus has sets in the style of five of them — Queen Elizabeth’s (Barnet), St Olave’s, Wilson’s, Henrietta Barnett and Tiffin Girls’ — so a child on one of those paths can practise the kinds of question that school has set before. Every question in School focus is Stretch level or harder.

Not targeting one of these five? The main 5,000-question bank still covers maths, English, verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning, and School focus is one part of Plus, not the whole point. Sagito is for the UK 11+; it is not for other exams, and it is not a replacement for your target school’s own past papers.

The 11+ format differs from school to school, so check your target school’s own website for the papers and format it sets. Each School focus set follows the style of its school’s papers, and the main bank is there to build the skills underneath whichever format your child sits.

Forty wildlife cards, illustrated by Sagito

Every card is an original illustration of British wildlife, and each one has an evolved form to find as an explorer goes on. They are earned by practising — never bought, and never behind a countdown.

The Red Fox card, illustrated by Sagito — one of the eight forest cards. The Kingfisher card, illustrated by Sagito — one of the eight river cards. The Mountain Hare card, illustrated by Sagito — one of the eight mountain cards. The Grey Seal card, illustrated by Sagito — one of the eight beach cards. The Robin card, illustrated by Sagito — one of the eight hedgerow cards.

And a camp to spend the coins on

Everything in the camp is drawn for Sagito too, from the tent to the lantern. Coins come from practice alone, so a camp is a record of work done rather than money spent.

Practice never stops

No daily limit, no energy meter, no countdown. When every free question has been seen, Sagito keeps going and serves the ones met least often first. An explorer is never stopped mid-session and asked to buy something.

Every explorer deserves a companion

A friendly companion offers encouragement, tells a few jokes and shares fun facts — bringing a smile to practice time and helping children feel supported as they learn. The adventure is better shared, too: children can swap cards and gift items with friends and family, as a request the other can decline rather than something that happens to them.

More than one explorer

Each explorer keeps their own progress, cards and camp, and each can have a PIN so a brother or sister cannot answer in their place.

For the grown-ups

A PIN-protected area shows how each child is doing by subject and topic, which areas need work, how much practice they have done, and their current day streak. Purchases live behind that PIN and nowhere else. Nothing is ever sold to a child.

There is no Sagito server

In the app there is no account, no sign-in, no advertising and no analytics. Nothing your child does is collected, transmitted or seen by us, because there is nowhere for it to go — everything stays on the device. The only network conversation the app has is with Apple or Google about a purchase, and it carries nothing about your child. Read the privacy notice.

What costs money

Everything above is free. Two optional purchases sit in the grown-up area, behind the parent PIN and nowhere else:

Neither is needed, and nothing an explorer has earned is taken away if a subscription ends. Payments, and any refund, go through Apple or Google rather than through us, and we cannot process a refund ourselves; the FAQ says how to ask. If you are weighing the price: a year of Plus is £39.99, about what one hour with a private tutor costs (typically £25 to £45 an hour).

What a subscription pays for

Sagito is built and maintained in the UK, and it carries no adverts and no analytics — nothing about your child is collected or sold, so there is no income behind it other than these two purchases. Keeping 2,000 questions free, permanently and with no daily cap, is a deliberate choice: we would rather as many children as possible could practise than put the whole bank behind a paywall.

That is what a subscription supports. It pays for questions to be written, reviewed and corrected, for new wildlife cards and camp items to be illustrated, for the bank to keep pace with the 11+ as it changes, and for the work of keeping the app running well on the phones and tablets families actually own. Every update reaches everyone, free and paid alike. If Sagito is useful to your explorer, subscribing is what keeps it being made — and keeps it open to families who cannot.

Kept accurate

Questions are reviewed and updated as and when it is needed — to correct anything found to be wrong, and to keep pace with changes to the 11+ curriculum and how it is examined. Updates reach everyone, free and paid alike.

Sagito is made in the UK, for the UK 11+. Help your child take their next step.
