Questions parents ask
The things parents tell us they want to know before they download.
Do I need an account to use Sagito?
No. There is no account and no sign-in. Nothing your child does is collected or sent to us, because there is no Sagito server for it to go to; everything stays on the device.
Is Sagito free?
Yes, up to a point that matters: 2,000 of the 5,000 questions are free permanently, with no daily cap, no energy meter and no countdown. Sagito Plus unlocks the rest of the main bank and every school set in full, at £3.99 a month or £39.99 a year.
Will it match my child’s target school’s exam format?
School focus has sets in the style of five schools: Queen Elizabeth’s (Barnet), St Olave’s, Wilson’s, Henrietta Barnett and Tiffin Girls’. Sagito is not affiliated with any exam board or school, and its questions are its own, not any school’s past papers.
My child’s target school is not one of the five. Is Sagito still for us?
Yes. The main 5,000-question bank covers maths, English, verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning, and School focus is one part of Plus, not the whole point. Sagito is for the UK 11+; it is not a replacement for your target school’s own past papers.
What happens if we cancel Sagito Plus?
The 2,000 free questions stay free, and nothing an explorer has earned, such as wildlife cards, coins and camp items, is taken away.
How do I get a refund?
Payments are handled by Apple or Google, not by us, and we cannot process a refund ourselves. Ask through Apple’s or Google’s own refund process; if you tell us what happened we will point you to the right place. Our help page says how to reach us.
Can my child buy things without me knowing?
No. Purchases live in the grown-up area, behind a parent PIN, and nowhere else. Nothing is ever sold to a child.
What data does Sagito collect about my child?
None. In the app there is no account, no advertising and no analytics. (This website does use analytics; the privacy notice explains what it sees.) The only network conversation the app has is with Apple or Google about a purchase, and it carries nothing about your child. The privacy notice has the detail.
Can more than one child use it?
Yes. Each explorer keeps their own progress, cards and camp, and each can have a PIN so a brother or sister cannot answer in their place.
Does Sagito promise a place at a grammar school?
No. Sagito makes practice something a child will actually open; it cannot promise a result, and nothing on this site says it will.
Still not sure?
The free version is the real app, with 2,000 questions and no time limit, so you can see whether your child will open it. Get in touch if something is not covered here.
Sagito is not affiliated with any exam board or school. Questions are ours, not any school’s own papers.
